Photographer Jordan Matter created his series “Dancers Among Us”.where photographer took pictures of dancers jumping, spinning, lifting, and kicking in the midst of everyday life. Matter does not use Photoshop, his fresh and original photos are all captured in camera. In fact, you can watch a fun, behind-the-scenes video of Matter hard at work here.
As he says,”Dancers are storytellers. They’re trained to capture passion with their bodies. The often create a fantasy world or offer us a deeper look into familiar settings. They bring to life what we feel but what most of us, lacking their artistry and athleticism, are unable to express physically.”
