GUZ Architects has designed a new house in Singapore, for their client who requested an exciting dynamic house that made the most of the steeply sloping site, overlooking the world heritage site of the botanic gardens.
The multi-level house makes the most of its surrounding landscape by having the interiors open to various water features.
In addition to the various water features is a swimming pool that curves, with windows to the level below, allowing light to filter through the water.
Stairs made from glass, steel, and wood, have been designed as a sculptural element in the home, while a wood slat ceiling and the water detail add a natural touch.
Another design feature of the home is a waterfall surrounded by lush plants, that flows down to a pond, creating a serene experience for the homeowners.
